In this playful, experimental workshop, we’ll explore the magic that happens when different materials collide.
Paint, paper, found objects, texture, marks, and unexpected combinations are all fair game.
There are no rules and no right way to make art—just permission to experiment, take risks, make a mess, and see what happens. The riskier, stranger, and more unexpected, the better!
Come with an open mind and leave with something completely your own.
Workshop Details
Dates: October 4, 18, and 25
Time: 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Location: The Wedge Studios, Asheville, NC
Cost: $80 per person
Class Size: Limited to 6 participants
Experience Level: All levels welcome — no previous art experience necessary
Materials: All basic art materials are provided. You’re also welcome to bring a favorite piece of paper, found object, photo, fabric, or other material you’d like to experiment with.
What to Bring: Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy, and bring your curiosity!
